After working on local magazines in Grimsby, Jessica moved to London where she worked as Features Writer for WI Life, the membership magazine for the Women’s Institute before moving to monthly consumer title, Coast, where she worked as Staff Writer and Features Editor.
Since going freelance in 2015, Jessica has written for a range of national magazines and newspapers including The Guardian, Observer Homes, Nat Geo Traveller, BBC Good Food, The Simple Things, Psychologies, Natural Health, Coast and Riverford’s Veg & Table. Jessica is a member of the Guild of Food Writers and author of The Women’s Institute’s Vintage Teatime, a compilation of old-fashioned recipes re-worked from a modern day afternoon tea.
